Joséphine Auffray, dancer, performer and choreographer, in collaboration with Nicolas Bobran, architect, have developed this short film for the online gallery Les Maries, inspired by the song “Kapelle Grau” from the album “Wir brauchen heute nicht mehr rauszugehen” by french-german Band, Les Maries.

Through the encirclement of Berlin, during the gray berlin winter and the hard lockdown, the fiction of a romance emerges that is not afraid of the stagnation of the empty city and even aspires to the freezing of time. In snow-white landscapes, the arrest of time collides with the accelerated steps of the mechanized city, and the rupture of the flow of time invites the spectator in a surreal world.
